Update on BCAA's: If you are eating a high protein diet and you get in at least one good meal 2-3 hours prior to your lifting session, you will have enough amino acids available to build and prevent muscle breakdown. I do, however feel that if you are doing fasted cardio or lifting, pre or intra workout BCAA's have their place in preventing muscle breakdown.
